Saving a MIDI value on FR4X

I am trying to use my FR4X with a VSound triangle.

I want to change the velocity value from ON to 127 which is achieved without a problem.
The value is saved and the accordion switched off - to allow a check that the value has been stored.

However on restart pressing the menu button immediately shows the 'system write' display.
The velocity value is still ON, not 127.

The accordion seems to work well in all respects except this.

Am I making a simple error in saving or is it a fault?

Just tried a FactoryAll reset...same result

Hi, I’m not totally sure what parameter you are changing but on a general note, when you change a system parameter you must save your system parameter settings before you switch off otherwise it will revert to the previous setting.
