Hello
I'm in desperate need of some accordion-istic assistance. I live in Grafton NSW Australia, and I must admit to joining your forum to only ask for help - so hope my apologies are accepted. I do have an old accordion which a friend gave me years ago, but can't play it! Now my problem! I'm in a play called Cosi that starts on 10 April - that's Friday week. We need a short clip of someone playing Ride of the Valkyries on accordion - just a minute or so of the da de de da da bit! Ideally it could be on mp3 and be emailed to me ... or otherwise put on youtube and I would record it with my handy dandy little recorder. We've tried everywhere round here, but our town isn't well supplied with Valkyrie-playing accordionists. Thank you in accordion-istic anticipation!

Haha, that is a slighty niche request! Is this no good? :P

Great choice

Hi Pippa - yes, I saw that - definitely a good one. But the da da de da da bit is done on the recorder on the clip. In the play, the character has to play the first few bars of Ride a couple of times ... we are in the process of trying to show him the keys, with numbers on or whatever, but it sounds a bit muddled. Trying to find one online just a bit of a last chance thing. We'll use the buskers one if we can't find another ...

Have found something. It's on the movie made of Cosi in the 1990's - I was told the character played Ride in the movie but could never find it. And have just found out (thanks to Mr Google!) that it's played after the credits. So have something now that will do. Thanks to all. Cheers from Aus.
