Recommend tutor books for me please?

Go on then! But you wouldn't expect someone who has never picked up an accordion before to "just play". Similiarly, complex harmony and improvisation upon it can be quite mystifying at first and it definitely helps to understand as much of the theory as you can.
 
I agree with you Simon, and overstated my concept. What I should say is that, while it is necessary to have facility on your instrument, and a decent level of understanding of theory, which can be gained by practice and many resources, the actual creativity and advancement in improvisation is best obtained through jamming with others. I'm not saying I agree 100% with this, but that it is one of the best advice I've come across.
