...am I ok to ask about a recent purchase on this forum. I know nothing about accordions but loved the look.

If so I will post pictures. Don't want to be forward !!!

Welcome to the forum, Bernard (?) and of course you may. If you have difficulty with the pictures loading it'll be because they're too big. Either use a hosting site or resize them in an editor.

Welcome Bresslaw; If you don't have pic's, just send us the info you have.
All of us here will be glad to help. That's what this site is all about.

You have a Italian made Scandalli piano accordion made in the late 30's. Without pic's of the interior I really can't comment more.

It is a lovely looker.. but that is only cosmetic. If you know nothing about accordions Im not sure what you are asking? I believe the Vibrante Four is a 4 voice treble, as the name suggests. Im not sure whether 4 of 5 voice in the bass. Id agree with Jims estimate of age, and we cant tell much about the instruments quality from external pictures. Most of these early models have little to no commercial value, but Scandalli is a popular make & may it fund a night out. What do you know about its history? How was it described?

Heres another .. maybe the same one...
