It turned out to be a Piano Accordion and I am looking for a C system CBA converter with at least 3 reeds in the treble.

So my question still is what is the best country (cheapest) to buy an accordion? Would it be directly from the manufacturer?

The manufacturer or anyone of it's dealerships have to adhere to a set low price. This mandatory set low price will vary because of shipping costs, taxes, accessories, and degree of guarantee offered buy the seller. You will have to add or subtract these factors and shop around. And by all means check out the FR-3xb which has all the features your looking for and sells for less than half of a new acoustic made in Italy. JIM D.
