Playing on Skype?

Have you ever tried to play with someone on Skype? Does it work, or is the latency too annoying? Are there any other platforms that work?

no

and don't be fooled by apps or websites that advertise in-sync live music jamming, because that just isn't possible. maybe you could get some sort of decent result, if every participant has ultra glass fibre connection, a really fast audio interface and a lot of patience.
