I decided it was time to treat myself with a new accordion ! After all you never have TOO many accordions. Anyway, here is a pic of my new baby: A Bugari, 288 Gold Plus. It is a beauty !288 gold plus.jpeg

Wow, beautiful! Congratulations Ed!

Looks lovely. I’m sure you will have a great relationship.

Great accordion, I have the same accordion with double riveted Binci reeds, very powerful!

Congratulations. I played that same accordion

That's a great accordion. I played it myself. Glad to have been in on the action. Good luck (y)!

Congratulations. I'm excited to hear more about it, and maybe a video or two....

Thanks for all the "well" wishes. Video(s) will be coming soon ! Still getting accustomed to the feel of the keyboard.

In my humble opinion, Bugari is the highest quality accordion available in the current market.
Do they make their own reeds?

Mine is LMMH, but comes with 2 interchangeable reed blocks to convert it to "wet". I believe the reeds are Hand Made Binci.

I agree, I have two Bugari's and they are fantastic. I have one with single riveted Binci reeds, and another with double riveted Binci and both are great! I don't think that they make their own reeds currently, maybe at one time.
