Multi effects rack

Does anyone use a reverb or echo unit or multi effects rack for live performances to give that lovely musette echo? I'm looking for a multi effects rack of some sort but have never used one before. I heard someone performing live and the mic went through a rack and gave it that lovely slight reverb/echo.
Anyone use one if so, can you recommend one?

You didn't say what what type of accordion you have - acoustic ??? - and if acoustic, what do you have for pickup's ??? If acoustic there are many keyboard amps that will contain this echo effect. There are also effect pedals (new & used) that can be used between the box and amp to simulate echo, reverb, and delay effects. All the "V" accordions and current new midi equipped acoustic accordion's have these features.

Sorry Jim - I was being stupid there.
It is an acoustic accordion with external mics (my lovely Cooperativa Super Ballo - fantastic instrument), so, when I do gigs, I want some reverb/echo to give it some body. It is an external condenser mic going to an amp and I wanted an effects rack that I could use for general purposes too

There are many on the market new and used. Try going to youtube and watch some user's videos. If you only want reverb or echo you might just look for a used effects pedal. Ebay has some for $30 to $50.

I use a line six floor pod with every thing in one. May be more than you need. Even a lesley simulater that can be cool. Nice thing about the pod is that weather I use an amp or go into the house pa I have the same sound. With different patches with different amounts of reverb and such. Small room use more becouse the acoustic bleeds through and it's dry. As the rooms get bigger I use less. Still a lot to chose from.

As other shave suggested i think your solution is a simple delay/reverb pedal, just make sure it's only connected to the right hand mic or things are gonna get messy..
i'm interested to know what external mics people are using... especially if connected to the accordion rather than on stands... thanks
