I'm a little curious about the bass button arrangement on a pre-war Marinucci 34/36 that I have recently purchased and restored to a playable condition. Looking at the bass buttons I notice the reference C isn't in a more typical centre of the row, but only four down from the top of the instrument in the playing position. The buttons do follow the Stradella arrangement. Any thoughts on this particular instrument's arrangement, I've not seen any other like it?
