I got my stuff from an authorized Hohner guy in Canada. I feel better about not throwing him under the bus hearing other experiences from Hohner - he has definitely been helpful, and was recommended by FRM when I talked to him last year looking for parts for my Verdi II.

I thought because Hohner was such a large brand name they would be easiest to source parts from as opposed to what I might perceive to be a smaller known Italian manufacturer. In stock items here are three days away so I will continue to source that way but in the future non stock items I will look elsewhere.
