Itโs not contemporary at all; it was (as Lars Ek himself said) once owned by Frosini and the bass section was replaced with the stradella system. It is a regular three row chromatic accordion. Thereโs no fake piano design on it, so the term โfintoโ doesnโt apply here. Frosini played other accordions with the finto design.
So this was really cool! The bellows technique is interesting. Iโve never played it like that. Is this a technique of the time? Seems rather strange and unnatural to me, but Iโm far from a frosini expert. It does sound cool.
Bel fiore snd bel Visio are a couple of my favorites. Ive been playing around with coquette polka since I heard you Zevy play it on here sone where.
I have a true "Finto" style C system accordion, which this vid has inspired me to break out and give a whirl. Haven't played it since acquired (mostly as an oddity). I'll post some pics when I do so (of the accordion, not me struggling to play it).
