Korg Bellows separating from accordion.

The first Korg we recieved at Falcetti Music had the treble section break off the
accordion body after a few hours of use. Korg has sent the unit back to Italy
for repair. It looks like if you have this problem be prepaired to be without
the unit for a period of time.

Thanks Jim. There's a pretty extensive discussion about this under the main Fisa thread here.

Jim, were you able to see what the actual problem was?🤔
Some have mentioned a"plastic screw". Is that what you saw?🙂

"Plastic screw breaks in a £8k synthesizer".

30 years ago this would have been an April fool's joke.

It's the plastic fingers that hold the treble section to the bellows that are weak and breaking.

"Plastic fingers that hold the treble section to the bellows"? That sounds like a construction not in line with established accordion techniques. There was even a "Weltmeister Cordal" model with a complete plastic case (do a web search for it) and it still used bellows pins for attaching the bellows to the case. And if the plastic-loving GDR used that attachment method, they probably knew why.
