Welcome back and well said Keys! This is my only social media and I do look forward to reading what everyone says when I drink my coffee in the morning and gaze upon the beauty of nature. Finding peace within is an admirable goal and can lead a musician towards authenticity and expressiveness with less. I could do better…..Our greatest fear should not be of failure but of succeeding at things in life that don’t really matter.” – Francis Chan

Sometimes we need to take a break! Especially, from social media. How many, first thing in the morning check out their phones or iPad to see what others are saying about yourself and others? Does this mean success to you to know you have many friends on social media that reads or likes your response? To me, training your heart to have peace within, is a start. Especially with your real friends and family. Sit in a quiet room and examine ourselves, not others. This should be first priority in your daily routines.
I hope someday there will be a
change and peace within all of us. I sure found this peace but have a long way to go.

Good! Yea, I don’t care (or have the remotest chance) of becoming the best in the world. Smiling and audience interaction are my prime strengths and my biggest fun. I hear at least 5 stories per gig of “my mother, my grandfather, myself played (has an) accordion.” I always say “That’s great!” and engage this story and ask if they still play. Then they ask me to play Beer Barrel (obviously the go to accordion song around here, kind of like the Sultans of Swing or Freebird of guitars). I do.What do we seek as a musician? To be the best in the world?
At my gig, I have experienced meeting with a lady whom was going in for cancer surgery. She felt a need to talk about this on my break. I listened and we then departed. Are we setting an example to others? Keeping our performances family friendly? Getting smiles out of customers whom have big worries? We all have a past and some kind of issue within ourselves.

I sincerely think that I had a bit of a loose screw somewhere. How many, first thing in the morning check out their phones or iPad to see what others are saying about yourself and others?
