Hi folks. With this hot and humid weather, I am wondering if anyone has had experience with keeping accordions from getting ruined from the climate. I have a front room that is air conditioned sometimes, not all the time. I usually keep my accordions covered with a cloth cover, but I can also store them in the case or in a soft back pack case. My concern is if they are in a hard case, would that keep moisture in or out? Also are there dehumidifiers for accordions that can be placed inside of a case? Any ideas, suggestions? Thanks-

Depends on where you live - I think most places should not be too humid for mould, unless the box is stored in the cellar or in the attic. AC in summer/heating in winter should reduce the humidity by quite a few %.
From what I've been told, one just needs to ensure that the air inside the box gets circulated on a regular basis, and that should keep all the trouble away. The best way to do it is to play the box every day  .

Don’t leave your accordion in the case - leave it out and push some air through it once in and leave your case open
