I am more a fan of hard cases for my instruments, but these do look to be of above average quality in design and function. I've seen others that don't have all the features that these mention in the description, so I would have to say that they look pretty good. They are of German design, so I bet they are pretty expensive, likely even a bit more than a hard case. :)

They look really nice but looks dont say much about durability. You need to scrutinize how straps are connected to the body of the bag to judge how safe it is to carry a (heavy) accordion on your back.
Of course for larger (cassotto) instruments its better to use a gig bag that when carrying the accordion on your back actually holds the instrument in the playing position.

The most popular Italian gigbag maker is Fuselli (http://www.manifatturefuselli.com ). Their bags are pretty good. When you get an Italian accordion with gigbag the bag is very likely a Fuselli bag.

art. no. 2120, bag for 120 bass, RRP EUR 260,90 (inc German vat...)

These (below) are pretty good, great value, come with 2 year warranty.. I doubt theyll probably be as good quality as the Dimbaths.. but theyre less than 1/3 the price. Ive used one regularly (96)for a couple of years without problem... and there are a few other advocates on here.
And they come with inbuilt wheels and handle...

And if Allodis web is up to date he has them even cheaper.. http://www.accordions.co.uk/Accessories.htm

Thanks to everybody that responded to my query. I'm really after user information on Soundwear Performance gig bags specifically - has anybody actually used one and if so what are their plusses and minuses?
