I bought this accordeon a while ago. It belonged to a 40-50 year old man who said his mom used to play on it. It is a marinucci accordeon. There is no logo on it, only the name. I cant find a match online and Id love to know more about it, can anyone help?

I know its a student model with 48 bass. Thats all i know, i also have some pictures of the inside of the accordeon. There are no id numbers.

I think you’re most of the way there. There are some brands that have recognizable model names for there student instruments, but for the most part accordions are described by features and apparent specs. I would expect to see “made in Italy” somewhere on the back. I would guess 1940s early 50s. Looks to be in rough shape, missing hardware. I would be surprised if the internal parts are much better off. Pictures of the reeds would be handy to identify # of sets but I would expect 2/4 with two “middle” sets on the right hand side.
