I have a pair of Neotech Mega straps. (Upside down in the Amazon photo!)
The lower left buckle will not be flat relative to the accordion; it turns sideways, and I can't figure out how to stop that.
It snags the bellows as I play, which interferes and can't be good for them.

Any suggestions?
These straps seem to be well-reviewed, so I figure it's something specific to me.
I wear the accordion quite far to the left, so that the bellows is to the left of my left thigh and the black keys are under my chin.
I have the left strap quite short - almost as short as it will go.

Ed S: As there's a wide variation in how straps are attached to an accordion it's difficult to visualise your problem. A couple of photos of the strap brackets and their positions might help. An ill-fitting accordion can completely spoil what might be a perfect instrument.

I think I fixed it: I switched the connections at the bottom of the accordion, so that the straps are now crossed down there. AFAIK this is nominally wrong, but seems to work fine.
