How do I play these LH chords?

I am preparing to perform some songs that require these LH chords: that i want to play using the LH buttons of a 120 bass piano accordion:

C6
CM7
CM9

Cm6
Cm7
Cm9

How do I play those LH chords with my LH ?

(Please excuse me if this has already been explained somewhere at this forum but my search came up with nothing that would help me.)

Mostly I just play something close and fill in the other notes with the RH.

A lot of these, although playable dont sound that great, the pianists that I work with tend to play extensions past the 7th in the right hand anyway.

So the CM9 is a C bass and chord in the LH, and and notes from a chord of G in the right. Compare this with a LH C bass and chord, plus a LH G chord, turgid..

Cm9 is Cm LH plus Gm RH etc etc.

The LH combinations that work best IMO are the single bass with a single chord. M7ths 7b5s, fake inversions etc.

I found that plonking my fingers anywhere, and taking note of what I liked was very productive.

Eg, try holding down a C bass, and play C Gm, Cdim, and a C7 chords over it for a cheesy Dominant that leads to an F chord... C/C Gm/C Cdim/C C7/C to F.

The accordionpage. com site is good. Print out the table and work out some fingering. Takes some practice but can sound pretty cool

By the way, the 7th and 9th chords will probably be the same and you'll have to fill the 9th in with the right hand
