Just accidentally posted something twice, but there seems to be no way to delete a post, so I'm editing it into this.

BSA,
Look to the immediate right of the word "Report " in the bottom left corner of your post.
You'll see "...^" (except that the arrow points down)
Click on these symbols.
You'll see some options come up, including "edit " and "delete ".
Click on delete and follow through!🙂
There's about a 24 hour time limit for doing this and you have to be logged in to access it. 🙂

I am not seeing this on my screen. This is what I see. When I click on edit, I can change the post but not delete it.

Can't explain it!🤔
Have to be logged in.
I see:
Report...^ (arrow head point down)
Click on the dots.
Dialogue box pops up with " More Options " and two choices:
"Edit "
"Delete "
Pick delete and follow through.
That's it!
You may need some help from one of the administrators?🤔

Ahhh:
If you've exceeded the time limit, it won't work:
Try it out on a fresh post!🙂

BSA,
First and foremost you have to be within the time limit: about 48 hours. After that, you can't access it.
Second, much confusion occurs because this option is visible only to the member who posted the message in the first place and then, only while they're logged on!
I can't see your's, you can't see mine, logged on or not!
If all this is in place, it should be a cakewalk!🙂👍

Yes, signed in and less than 48 hours. Still, there's an button to edit but not to delete. Interestingly, I can delete my own responses to my post, but not the original post. I've tried on my laptop and phone with the same result. I wonder if it's a bug or intentional and if so, why.

Some places like the Sales and wanted sections we cannot delete, and thats a good thing... other times we can delete.Screen Shot 2022-04-24 at 5.53.11 PM.png

Just playing here with this post... the DELETE option at the bottom is clearly visible, but there is a time limit before it disappears. I also think one has to have posted "X" number of times before that option appears too... not sure. You can post in the FORUM section and Knobby will respond to you.

Check in the drop down menu next to "Unwatch." I had the exact issue you did and eventually found it in that drop down menu. Hope it works for you.

I've tried that also. The only options are "Edit thread" and "Create poll".

As said above, you can delete a post within 48 hours of you posting it but not if it is the first post in a thread. If you delete the first post in a thread then the thread itself is deleted, which you can’t do. This is because by deleting the thread you would delete everyone else’s posts in that thread too.

So if you do need a thread deleted let me know and I can delete it for you 👍
