Hot wax!

So the last couple of days it was record breaking hot here and I guess in most of W.Europe.

I tested how hot reed wax could get without a heater:

Although it stayed in place it became like warm butter.

If you then tried to play and if the reeds were not held in place by nails or hooks... you might not fared this well...
