Are there any Canadians who can recommend any noteworthy accordion/folksy events for my upcoming holiday in Canada? Or maybe worthwhile landmarks for that matter.

Were heading to that patch of land between Toronto, Niagara and Bruce Peninsula. Among a small car trip around the area with stops here and there, Ive booked us a room in Owen Sound where they are having http://summerfolk.org

Maybe there are other fun events in the area that I couldnt find. Plz let me know. Its for Aug 16th till 20th.

Hamilton/Stoney Creek had an.accordion club that happened once a month, you might want to look in to that... and t is a 30 minute drive from Niagara.

Hi jozz,

Looks like you'll miss the Hamilton Tiger-Cats vs Edmonton Eskimos at Hamilton, Ontario, on 23rd August.

CFL is like NFL, only quicker. No accordions, but a lot of fun.

A former police colleague of mine, Peter Thom, is a cop in London, Ontario. Hope you don't end up meeting him on your travels, although he may be retired by now.

good feedback

I will pass Hamilton twice I think, going down to Niagara and then up to Bruce Peninsula

Jozz, I just *might* be in the area around that time, if my plans work out. If you want to, leave me a private message with an email where I could reach you. We could maybe meet up. I always enjoy meeting fellow accordionists from all over. :)

 will let you know

not sure if we're going to stop over at Hamilton but Summerfolk is a sure thing. So we might catch you there
