Digital bellows locking - anyone else have issues with it?

As in it doesn't work, well to be more exact, it doesn't "fully" work. When turned off the bellows still expand, albeit at a slow rate.

Is there a fix (software wise), or does it need a 3rd party hardware intervention?

If you mean that without a strap and the bass end unsupported the bellows slowly take in air, yeah, that's going to be normal for any accordion, digital or not. There are so many seals involved and the bellows themselves are not perfectly impermeable membranes, so you're always going to have a little leakage. If you truly want no movement, just attach the bellows strap.
