The chromatic 5 row diskant (right side of instrument) button is the best key layout because it permits playing with just 3 different fingering progresses, while the piano needs 12 to meet all ############. Only 6 rows are better. C-Griff is more widely available in the world than B-Griff (the layout definition, difference is tone C on 1st or 3rd row). The first 3 rows contain all tones, row 4 and 5 are repetitions and enable playing a different keynote without changing fingering. The basses should have 6 rows, only professional artists might want 9.
I might comment on some accordion MIDI system later. Let me first stroll through the forum.

Welcome!
Definitely a unique first post... I think you need to spend some time reading the forum. There are a lot of very intelligent and experienced accordionists on here... and you will find that your first post's chosen topic is one well discussed,

I was writing my view about accordions. It would certainly surprise me if it was contradictory to most similar contents of other member's posts.
I also have views on Accordions with MIDI retrofit, 15 years experience, starting with the guy in Windsor ON 2007, a little more than "for ages". My views on MIDI take more than a few lines. I intend to search this forum for related information. Then we see. Thanks for the welcome, JerryPH. I play Hohner Atlanta 145, made 1963.
