The Casali company seem to be a bit of a mystery in that not much good information is available on-line( that I can find.) They were certainly well established in the 1930s, probably earlier but it may be that they had faded away well before internet and maybe some of the people of the people who would have known have faded as well.
I firmly believe that many instruments, not only Casali, from the late 30s and immediate post-war, with the right attention are much better instruments than the lower end of the present market.
