Ive been playing and repairing all models of the Giulietti line made by Zero Sette for 40 years now. They all had and do have one thing in common, they all were and are of the finest tone, playability, and craftsmanship. Here in the US its often heard, Giuliettis Are The Rolls Royce Of Accordions. Older models were made by Zero Sette in Italy and from 2010 to present are made by Zero Sette of Scandinavia and Brazil.

I hope this isnt thread creep, if so I apologise in advance.
Wondering what youd expect to pay (ballpark) for a little Giulietti p72 with 3 treble couplers? Only has a small photo in the ad so I dont know if it is enough to be able to ascertain age etc. I have asked for more photos.

Looks like a 2 reed 48 bass. A well made small student model from the 60's. Depending on condition from $150.00 to $350.00.

Thanks Jim. I probably should have uploaded the only other photo provided which was the base buttons. I didn't because the photos are so small. There are 72 buttons. Would this be a good learner?

I am planning to buy weltmeister stella piano accordion from ebay. How is the product quality in sound, reeds ,handling etc.
I am a beginner in accordion but i play piano and organ. The product cost is around $175.Can you give me suggestions whether to buy or not. They say that it is german make and not Chinese also the photo shows that

Hi The Weltmeister Stella is a basic student accordion. A good one that has been well cared for in good tune with no faults will make an OK starter/beater. They come up often in Europe and can be very cheap after use in junior accordion bands and as loaners to students.
You should try it first if local to you to ensure there is no faults.
This one has had some repairs looks like a couple of keys replaced, corners and back of bellows looks good, so maybe re-taped or replaced. Valves look to be ok.
Sellers got a good feedback history, and his description seems promising. He says 'sold as pictured'., ask if there are any known faults.

Risky buying from abroad but he's sold plenty.
Good luck

It is a 72 bass Jim, as far as I can make out it is/was called a P72. You mention the superior quality build of the full size accordions. Were the student or smaller models made to the same quality as the larger ones?
I had contemplated finding an older 72 bass Hohner for ease of finding parts if necessary but then this one turned up and I read posts praising the Giuletti/Zero Sette brand. There does not appear to be many Giuliettis in Australia. Any thoughts on the M52 model?

All Italian made Giulietti models of accordions in the past were of the finest craftsmanship. There were PA's, Button Boxes, and many different configurations and sizes. You will have to decide on your "Cup of Tea" and begin to search. When I have a Giulietti in my shop for sale it never gathers dust as here in the US Giulietti's are regarded as the Rolls Royce of accordions and very seldom parted with.
