I have herd on sumthing like that but gave more of a trimalow afect. It would speed up and slow down whit the bellow presser. Can't remember what brand box it was. I wanted to buy it off him but he would not part with it.
I believe on this there is a flapping piece of metal in between the right and left sides that vibrates with the air being pulled across it. The "harder" you pull or push the bellows the more air is forced through and faster the metal oscilates back and forth. There is a wooden switch valve that opens and closes the hole to turn it on and off. Its a cool concept, but I also agree Im not that excited by the sound it makes.
A late 40's early 50's marketing innovation. It was more like a paddle wheel with intake and outtake valves. Not very popular, increased weight, and with continued use after a time leaked like a sieve. When service was needed most were removed.
Many thanks for posting. I had never heard of this feature before. Success or not, it's good to learn about all the innovations that have been tried in the past.
