well we were fascinated with the whole Brazil music scene
and i note for note learned from Wanderly and the others..

Charlie Byrd, mentioned in that tribute, and his Brother lived in Annapolis MD.
just west of Wash DC, and they were active performing up to Charlies passing
in 1999, not just nationally, but they did tons of local town center and
festival events locally.. yeah i stole a few of his Bossa style riffs too !
