I am thinking about buying a small PA so that I can learn more about repairs. This accordion is for sale in my area. I havent seen it yet. No idea what kind of shape it is in. It is not carrying any names or labels only what we see on the grill. (Or whats missing from the grill.) Does anyone recognize this one? Thanks in advance!

Judith , keep in mind that old piano boxes like the one you are after are worth little or nothing despite what the seller may think!

Indeed! Thanks for the reminder. This seller makes no statements regarding it at all. It looks a bit rough and I haven't a clue what it is. They want $50.
I am enjoying learning how to identify they myriad of PAs out there. It makes me wonder that there are no catalogues of product (historical) from different manufacturers. You would think a Hohner catalogue with years of production, photos, distinguishing marks, etc. would sell like hot cakes. Have I missed it? Has any manufacturer ever offered something like this?

I really must warn you on this one as any repair in this box will cost more in parts and labor than it's worth. These old models have no value as they were of crude construction when new.

Thank you for the sage advice, Jim. I can't let enthusiasm get the better of me.
