Anyone knows anything about this brand? This accordion poped up on a local store recently, the only thing i found about it, is that is made by Bugari (?). I dont know much about accordions but isnt bugari a top brand? (im new in this accordion world). Is priced around 950us, accordion seems pretty new, mint condition. Do you think is a good price?

Sonus is the own brand of importer Accordeons Bonné, made by Bugari Armando.
The link to Accordeons Bonné doesnt work, but I googled Bonné Accordeons and found them. Theyre in the Netherlands.
https://www.accordeonzaak.nl
Its all in Dutch and I dont know whether they are the same as the importer Bonnés.
It seems that Willy Bonné was a well-known virtuoso accordionist and his daughter inherited his love for music and it looks as if she started a private music school.
Sorry, we need one of our Netherlands members to translate, my Dutch is very limited !!
Ive tried to find out more about Willy Bonné but other than the fact that he was apparently an excellent accordionist, zilch.

This probably corresponds to one of the entry level acccordions made by Bugari. It is a very good brand, like many others located in and around Castelfidardo. That doesnt imply that all these accordions are created equal. Lower end models will have cheap machine reeds (cheap compared to a mano (hand made) reeds) and that translates into the sound. Some people here have had Bugari make a similar accordion with a mano reeds and then it sounds much better (and is quite a bit more expensive). Cheaper models will have mostly plastic valves and top models will have leather valves with metal booster springs added (more expensive valves and more labour to install them). In any case even given that this is more of an entry-level model the price of 950us seems very reasonable to me if the instrument is indeed in mint condition.

Yeah, they seems to be plastic. Still looks like a good offer, ill look into it! Thanks a lot for the info guys
