Does anyone have experience with both Marcel Dreux's accordinas and Laurent Jarry's accordinas? I play accordinas from Marcel Dreux and I am curious about how Laurent Jarry's might differ? Any help appreciated.
Well, I guess it is a moot point now because Laurent Jarry is retiring and closing his shop soon and not making any more accordinas. As of the other day he still had one left, his top-of-the-line model.

I’ve owned all existing brands, and Marcel’s are IMO hands down the best finest instruments. Specifically, the wooden Pedro model and carbon fibre models have the fullest sound.

I bought my accordina over 10 years ago and at that time it seemed that Marcel Dreux was the only one available. So he definitely has the most experience.

Thanks, Jerry. I have the Pedro and Miroir (solid sides). Not sure which one I like better. Both great. The first one I owned was the Grilles model like Paul has. I got the to play the carbon fiber model once and it sounded terrific.
