ABC notation is a programming language for writing and reading sheet music. Its there since 1993 as they stated in the website. Around 700.000 free sheet music available with their variants. Also can play the tune for your evaluation. You can search for music in the website format.

Through the years, many people made free song collection files, independent from the website, you will need a software to use (read) these which many are provided there also. I m using EasyABC for Windows.

You may not find so specific (copyrighted) music there but it is a huge library for traditional world music players for years. Its certainly worth to have a look.

I do all my arrangements in abc. Once you get the hang of it, and have a template set up, it’s easy and fast. Not to mention free! You can save your output as pdf which is pretty nice. Here are some examples:

 
So many tunes, so little time! I guess he has a few more than me!
I m working on these lately. These tunes have similarities after get used to.
