Wow, great video, thanks Ric! Mr. Spinelli is a true master and now I know why (other than the fact that he is a monster player and makes all his music and "basi" available for free). Look at him absorbed in an accordion book while sitting with that stunning Italian beauty!

Thanks. Giuseppe has a very big accordion passion. You can feel it. He has a nice story too. He moves from Sicily to Stradella, the "accordion's city"

Is that your accordion at the 3 minute mark?
There is a great story that accompanies the video. I’d post it, but it’s long and in Italian.

Yes, there is "my" Stradellina in the video!:ROFLMAO: And yes there is a great story (his grandfather in Sicily and more...)but my English is not good enough to translate it, sorry.:cautious:

On Facebook. Accordion test page video. Here you can find Giuseppe playing/testing Stocco accordion (PA, CBA and almost all the possible mix of voices/register cassotto, musette, dry, wet... ) Enjoy! I think someone could envy him:ROFLMAO:. If the link doesn't work you have to search on FB the page: Giuseppe Spinelli production. Then scroll down until you find: accordion test fisarmoniche Stocco.

Go on Ric, give it a go, as we say 'down under'.
My knowledge of 'la bella lingua' is very patchy, just enough to deal with daily needs - and even that is now 18 years out of date, so I would probably make a mess of any attempt at translation.
Aside from that, I have been retired for many years so I have very busy life with little time to spare - I don't know how I ever found the time to engage in paid employment ;)

An indescribable passion, mine, for that sound: the vibration of the free reeds that releases every single accordion ...
Since I was a child I have been encouraged by an extraordinary Grandfather, of whom I am proud and I always keep remembering and mentioning him, because I think he was a real mentor in my life ...
After a few years from my transfer, from my beloved Sicilian land, to be a musician, I dreamed of living in the so-called "City of the Accordion"
For several years now it has become my adopted land, in which in addition to living there I use most of the hours of every single day of my day with music, accordions, musical ideas, etc ... As I always say: my day begins with "some accordion between my feet and I end up with one as a pillow "…
All this makes me more and more charged to face any day, with the spirit of a winning dreamer !!!
This is why, without going into chattering, I would like to present this last one of mine I would say "DocVideo", in which, in addition to showing my passion, I will musically tell a bit of the history of the accordion, with some exciting shots inside the historic factory of the Fabbrica Dallapè and to follow various scenes of my daily life, at the renowned Stocco company (of which I am a part with great pride).
What can I say, with this video I want to pay homage above all to all fans of this instrument on the notes of one of my compositions fully written and dedicated to the "land that hosts me today", of which I can easily define myself STRADELLINO
A special thank
to my friend Michele Franzolin, who together with all his television staff, for some years has shown me a great collaborative relationship consolidated by a lot of respect and professionalism in synergy with the FARFALLINA Music Edition;
to Mr. Fabio Dallapè, for his availability and courtesy in allowing us to film and admire all that remains of the Dallapè Factory, telling with emotion various anecdotes of the many years of activity of a brand that has traveled the world thanks to its prestige;
to all the colleagues of the staff of the Stocco Accordion Company, who with dedication carry on the little street tradition in each new production;
at the bar of the Stradella station;
last but not least, a special thanks to my beautiful little sister, who is always behind the scenes for me and for the Farfallina Music Edition;
to my family, who, even from a distance, always support me with great admiration in everything I carry out with sacrifice and dedication.
Finally I want to dedicate this work with a lot of humility and frankness, first of all always and in any case to my dear grandfather and secondly to some of the main pillars of the little street history of the I thank all of you who took a few minutes of your time to read this post and I invite you to view the video clip from start to finish, because in my opinion it deserves a nice like and many shares, to remember and bring to the attention of everyone always and however the sound and the love for an instrument that has fascinated several generations for decades all over the world.accordion, that is to the mourners: Elvezio Stocco, Amleto Dallapè and Carlo Aguzzi.

The present exists, because the past has a history. And we told this story with this DocVideo!
