This is, in my opinion, is the most impressive version ever of Parting Glass.
She makes a 400 year-old text thoroughly modern and her singing sends a chill down my spine.
I see she's from New South Wales which I wouldn't guess - her singing reminds me of Irish Traveller music.
And what great use of the RH for chording with the melody coming in as you'd have from a band.
I hadn't come across Sally Andrews before so thanks for the introduction - a wonderful voice and a clever and striking use of the PA.
