Pipemajor,
I imagine Tom is referring to a largely fictitious Aussie Bush crocodile hunting local character/ folk hero called Crocodile Dundee, the hero of several Australian made movies and acted by Paul Hogan (something of a character himself!)?

The "Crocodile Dundee " movie has two sequels, but by far the most interesting sequel (other than the two movies it spawned) was the off-screen sequel between Paul Hogan (playing the main rolle of Crocodile Dundee) and his co-star Ms Linda Koslowski!

Is it just me, but I don't understand
Dingo is correct, I plan to come down to Australian and threaten Dingo with a safari hat and crocodile if he fails to play his accordions.

But is this cultural appropriation? You can’t be too careful these days.
Good question. This could be asked about a lot of the songs we play. I promise I will only play Stephen Foster tunes while threatening Dingo.

Ah, all clear now!. I had guessed the Dundee link to Crocodile Dundee, but it was the "cone" which had me puzzled. Didn't realise it was finger trouble, I thought it might be some American saying which hadn't reached the backwoods of the Uk yet
