Where to advertise?

I’m guessing some people are going to overpay for stuff that “looks pretty” and there will be good deals on “restorable beauties.” I wish you all the best of luck. With the 22% premium and unknown overseas shipping, I’m out. 😢😢

Where are all the higher end accordions? For example, we saw two Hohner Morino VI N's that don't appear anywhere... are those gone already?

Interesting Tom!

I'm an accordion minimalist, and I have three accordions already, I don't really want to build a collection. I'm enjoying the auction talk though and the releasing of this mountain of accordions back into the wild where they can be played.

I can't see them selling a mountain of accordions when they don't answer enquiries through their website. Besides, if they're sold as ornaments they won't be played anyway!

we can all think of better ways to conduct such a
liquidation/auction, but if we pipe up we may get
enlisted so.........

mostly i feel the limitation is simply the number of
people in the market at any given time (on average)
as serious buyers (the primary target)
as casual collectors who have excess discretionary income
and then as bargain hunters, who will largely be confined
to affordable shipping or come pick it up in person

and i will be happy to be surprised when the results are in
(if they are ever revealed) that i am wrong as to the miniscule
actual available buyers at this moment that i anticipate

as far as liquidating the rest of them, same thing.. how
many (few) well funded entities are in the market for
inventory ? we just saw how long it took (years) for what's is name
to liquidate his inventory in England ? or Wales ? you guys
probably know who i mean.. he was a well respected tech..

here in the USA Liberty Bellows WAS in the buyers market for a few years,
but since picking up a ton of inventory from Rose (Roxy's) and
then Castiglione, they have really been quiet as frankly it is gonna
take them forever to recover what they have locked up in this
rather huge inventory they now have to work through.. and they
have focused more and more on new stock which further pushes
their ROI down the road

if having a ton of accordions to sell put you in the catbirds seat,
then the accordion factories in CastleFi would be sitting pretty
and expanding and lowering prices to meet the tremendous (sic) demand

Yeah, good point. 22.5 is Ross's online auction (I think). But if it's managed via saleroom it must be 33.
