Digital sheet music

I have a 12.9" iPad Pro, and a standard 9.7" one. The 12.9" is great for practising at home, but I find it a bit cumbersome to use out at performances. Also it would be expensive to replace if dropped or stolen. I find the 9.7" good for gigging, big enough for me to read and small enough to slip in a bag, and it fits on a Hercules tablet stand nicely.
Thanks Rosie!

Speaking of digital sheet music, what do you guys recommend for the size of the tablet? Now I have my songs on standard 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Is a 12 inch diagonal tablet big enough or ?????? Thanks!
An iPad Pro is 12.8" and is near a perfect 8.5 X 11 sheet, but if people recall Breezybellow's post a while ago about using a nice big screen, and I now use a 24" monitor that was just sitting there doing nothing... its a bit bigger than a standard page, so I am really enjoying that.

If you are using a small tablet or iPod, connecting a nice big TV to it makes it such that expensive tablets are not even needed. Walmart has a slew of affordable bigger TVs that one could use.

Good idea Jerry. I’m thinking about what I could take instead of my notebook of 8.5 x 11 sheets.

I took a fast look at android tablets, far cheaper than anything from Apple... for example a Lenovo 11" tab;et here in Canada is pretty affordable. Not sure how fast or useable it would be but...

Thats $180 Canadian, has to be less at Best Buy USA.

That looks pretty good. About the size that Rosie uses.

I agree Apple is expensive, I have a Mac and iPhone too, but they do make everything work well together. My larger iPad was acquired when I was working as an IT contractor and on a decent wage - as I mentioned before it doesn't go out as I'd not be able to replace it if lost/broken. My smaller iPad though, it came from Amazon's refurbishment programme and was under £100.

I use a Microsoft Surface Pro which has a 12.5 inch screen.
Bought second hand from Ebay cheaply, it has the advantage of both Windows and Android.
It also has a "proper" keyboard which is detacheable to make a tablet.
