Recommendations for something similar to Pietro Frosini

I particularly like the sort of semi classical (is that the right word) style and also how well he writes music that just sounds good on the accordion. Anyway can people recommend other books with similar kinds of music.

Frosini was among the best ever at writing music that "just sounds good," i.e., fits comfortably under an accordionist's hand and gives maximum sound for minimum fingering difficulty. I am envious of his ability to do that.
You don't want to miss the rest of Frosini's oeuvre: there are several dozen pieces, the largest and most complex and "classical-sounding" of which are the 3 rhapsodies.

If you are open to a moving a little farther toward classical, you may be interested in Nikolai Chaikin, who wrote extensively for Stradella-system accordion in the 40s and 50s --- and was obligated to write music accessible to the masses, not complicated experimental "Western formalism," by the Soviet system --- before the Russians got deeply into free bass. (And born in Kharkiv and studied in Kiev, so those of us outside Russia can call him "a Ukrainian composer" if it's politically expedient not to play Russian music right now.)

Books? Well, Frosini has been dead 70 years so he is out of copyright and can be freely downloaded --- everywhere in the world except the USA.

As for Chaikin I liked the Humoresque more that the Toccata as I prefer a bit slower more melodic sound. The Chaikin Humoresque sort of reminds me of Revis fairy tale by Alfred Schnittke which is a pretty cool accordion piece although I suspect above my level.

I have not played all the songs in the book, but I have played all I am going to play. I've picked the ones I've liked and I play them. I have not played all the songs in the book, but I have played all I am going to play. I've picked the ones I've liked and I play them. As you can see because of Siegmund's suggestion I found a free downloadable site of Frosini pieces so if you have recommendations either of Frosini or others that would be great.

I always begin with hearing a piece that I want to learn and then finding the music. The are many recordings and videos of Frosini’s music that you can listen and watch. Why don’t you try that?

If you can't access the website. I'd try a difference browser Edge among others worked for me. Also if you are using a VPN I would disable it.
