The Guitordion

Great, so now you only need two hands for playing chords, as opposed to needing two hands when using a guitar or one hand when using an accordion.

I have a bit of a problem figuring out what problem is being solved here other than finding a use for a surplus of brake cables.

hey even BelTUNA knows how to use Solenoids and Arduino

we don need no steeenkin cables

how many old Lawnmowers were swiped and murdered for their cables ?

an entire neighborhood will not be able to coup de grass this Spring

a memory of Mother Maybelle Carter just popped into my head..
can see her strummin that ol' Autoharp and singin

i could go on but..

In the next upgrade, he could use his legs for double-bass-accordion.🤣

Obviously it's not supposed to be convenient or efficient, it's more of a wacky unique performance gizmo than an incredible and world-altering invention. I love it!

Heck, I can do that (sort of) without the cables. I have midi in my acoustic accordion, so I can play with the reeds sounding and simultaneously get guitar chord and upright bass sounds.

Well, that's like a Leslie speaker: on a good recording, that will be near indistinguishable from the real thing. Live and in in some vicinity, no chance of coming close.

When my so-called band was togerther, we lacked the instruments that would have been essential for the kind of music we played. That’s why I got the. MIDI. It sounded good, but the visual? Imagine a clarinet sound coming from an accordion with the bellows strapped closed; the dynamics and pitch bends controlled with pedals.

Need to add a projector screen with an air clarinet player or a string puppet.
