Thanks for that hais. Her passing was mentioned in another post, but the obituary was worth the read.

Yvette was one of the very few female French accordionists who made it into the big time in her day. There were one or two others, like Michele Boudet and Corinne Rousselet, but they were never as famous as Yvette Horner.

Ive often discussed her playing with other French accordion lovers, and if she had a fault at all it was that she made everything sound too easy. However, the opinions of a few never held her back, and she thoroughly deserves to be remembered as she was, a great world class accordionist.
