Why are the CBA keyboard layout charts the wrong way around?

When we look at available documents and pictures, we always see keyboard layouts as we look at them horizontally and facing the accordion. Which has nothing to do with the actual position of the keyboards when we play.

That requires work in the brain to transpose and re-orient the keyboards' rows and columns in a way that our hands use them, which is vertically and not from the audience's perspective.

Someone may have done that already, but I made charts for a 120-bass Stradella and a 80-button B-system with the notes names on rows and columns oriented the same was as when we play, as if we would look at them from behind, through an invisible accordion! So I only have to imagine my fingers moving up and down as if they were on the other side of the chart.

I can scan and post them if anyone is interested ;)
