It sounds familiar but I could not put a name to it.

That's not very good.

They actually invite people (on the home page) to email them to ask questions.

I have no idea, but thanks for the link to this site. Most of the instruments appear to have stradella style bass. Once upon a time I had a Hohner Gola, stradella bass with an additional 3-row bassetti. What a monster.
