I have the 'french' 3+3 bass system, with the minor 3rd extra counterbass row.
Does anyone know of any sheet music or tutor books in any language that cover this system?

MY tutor books by andre astier cover the 3+3 system, but i want to get deeper into it, as i feel it offers quite alot of possibilities, so i am looking for as many resources as i can find...Thanks

All my accordions have this 3+3 system and I have never seen a tutor book which does anything but mention it in passing.
It is a voyage of discovery.
Most differences are creating dim chords and the use of the extra counter bass row.
The former is fairly straight forward, the latter comes with a bit of practice and common sense.
How to use all 3 rows for bass runs etc. I am still discovering.

Interesting re experimenting... i did just that today and discovered that to play a major bass scale on the first row of counterbass is exactly the same way as playing bass major scales from the fundamental bass row!

ABout the diminished chords, were you just referring to that fact that you need to reach across one row?

Indeed, reaching across one row is the answer as the m7 chords are voiced without the fundamental. Have fun.

What about any portuguese (from portugal not brazil) tutor books?
They love the 3+3 bass layout over there, as well as csystem...
Surely there must be books in portuguese?...
Ill have to ask my brazilian girlfriend to look into it!
