I wonder if anyone can point me to the lyrics in English please. I can only find the lyrics in any number of other languages on line but not English.

Maybe the words are not too "wholesome" ( as per Alouette ) which may explain why I can't find them!

Hi Phil,

You seem hell-bent on learning this tune, the reason for which escapes me. Still, I must wish you good luck with it, just as long as you don't ask for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Some may disagree with me, but I think it is the most loathsome song ever written. Irrational as it may seem, I passionately detest that song.

lol... Ok, so when are we going to see you on video playing this song??? BTW, I dont thik there are any official lyrics for this song, I've must have heard 20 versions of it, all different wording!

Stephen, the secret to liking this song is to acknowledge that it's not meant to be serious, but used to control the dancers on the floor and make them do totally funny and ridiculous things. :lol:

Hi Jerry,

I mustn't have explained myself very well ......... It is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang I find so utterly dreadful. "The Birdie Song" is only mildly irritating; not in the same league of awfulness as C C B B.

I have seen people flapping their arms about to The Birdie Song, all of which I find comical, but I have yet to see anyone dancing to C C B B. (unless you know different)
