I want to play Tarantellas, besides "the" tarantella napoletana that is over played. Anyone know of a sourcebook of Tarentellas. Have been searching on Ebay for sheet music, there are some, but no "book" of Tarantellas. Also Youtube trying to learn the names of more. Wonder how the Italians learn them?

my experience is simply that each area of Italy has it's own
local Tarantelle, so you look for the Sicilian Tarantelle
or the Abruzze tarantelle and you should find a Midi file or two
to listen to and learn from
also search "frenesia" with the Van Basco search engine
