Swapping bass end on a Hohner Student II with one from a Student IV??

Probably. I have interchanged different treble/bass sections as well as bellows on other Hohner models - I was surprised to find this but it makes sense. Mass scale production is best served when parts between models are interchangeable.

I'd be amazed if it didn't work.

I've swapped Hohner Student PA bodies with Hohner Amati CBA bodies in the past, just to see if it could be done.

My experience was that they're pretty uniform in sizing and matched exactly.
