Hi Guys,

I had to post my effort at Style Musette.
Thus tune has been driving me nuts this past week or so and hopefully recording it will get it out of my system.
Honestly it is a bit hard for me and I always play it too fast but hey, who cares.... :)

Bravo! While it isn't the smooth, well rehearsed performance of someone who's been doing it for ages (though far better than I could do!), you manage to keep it musical.

I'm a little embarrassed that I don't have much of anything even in progress for the French musette genre, and here I am with the kind of 4 row CBA that came to me from France and almost certainly played that stuff in someone else's hands. I love the music, but most of them seem like a pretty big bite to chew off for a beginner. Maybe I am inspired to initiate a conversation on the matter.

Really enjoyed that!

Maybe even enough that it inspired me to get off the computer and pick up the accordion...

...maybe :D {}

Very nice, reminded me how much I can enjoy musette.

Thanks guys, good encouraging feedback.
The point about not being smooth is oh so accurate. I tend to rush things and really need to just relax and select some simpler pieces that to get the runs fluid and natural.
Donn, there are simpler musette style numbers that I'm sure would fall nicely under the fingers of a CBA.
I've often found the musette falls awkward at time on a PA but watching the fingers of a CBA player on Youtube appears to require almost no movement at all.
I think it is worth persevering. That is one reason I do fancy a small CBA for myself to see what can be done.

Naturelement,je desirez maintenant une disque bleu,un pastis et un encor....bravo mon amis ,c'est magnifique .......

and that's how I failed "O"level french....but can still get by in La Belle France :lol:
