Hello -

I was wondering what the Roland warranty is for a new FR-8X. There is nothing online that I can find specific to the V-Accordions.

I notice all Roland products have a US 1-Year warranty on parts and 90 Days on labor with the following exceptions:

Home Pianos have 5 years parts and 3 years labor and Stage Pianos have 3 years parts and 2 years labor.

I would imagine the V-Accordions would be considered gigging pianos and come with 3 Years parts and 2 Years labor.

This is for the US, please.

Thank you. Steve.

If you buy a V accordion online you get the 1 year 90 day - If you buy from a established Dealer you will find an extended warranty is in most cases offered through their own service Depts. Such as -- http://www.falcettimusic.com/

Thank you Jim. I would only consider an authorized Roland distributor. Thank you for the link.

I think it's odd that their $6K home pianos have 5 years, their $3K stage pianos have 3 years and their $6000 Accordions have one year. I guess it's all in the number of moving parts.

The Roland line of "V" accordions are still new to an established firm that has produced musical electronic instruments of many types for years now, and their "V" accordions are still a (new product) and are considered the same as their line of electronic keyboards and carry the same warranty's. Some Roland dealers that carry the "V" accordion line have now after 15 years have electronic and accordion tech's that can repair in house and can offer extended coverage.
