I agree. R465.
This photo shows enough to confirm the diagnosis - Whitby Folk Week 1986 - not the most practical morris instrument.
Accordion was hurt in a rear end shunt on the way to a New Year Dance on the Moors and passed from my hands.
I havent been up to date on reading posts lately, but on this one I would love to respond. (1st) the negatives - the picture you have provided is so blury I cannot see what the shifts offer. (2nd) The positives, -- and there are many. And you must be aware that these Sonolas were made in the late 40s to middle 60s and made to compete with brands such as Excelsior - Titano - Sano - and Giulietti. The box you picture here has the same quality and man size of the classic SS20 and could be ordered with three or four reeds treble - always five reed bass - and with or without tone chamber and or sordina. The accordion bodys of these boxes had aged hard woods and extreme quality mechanisms. All the quality boxs of this age have not worn out with age, but even with hard usages have become sweeter on sound and have increased volume. Accuracy on the model will require more pics.
Even a Sonola with only three reeds treble and large body was sweet and refreshing --
And even with a two reed box with only bassoon shift --
