Scandalli 'Frankie' Accordion found in estate sale

Hello,

I recently attended a estate sale and purchased this beautiful accordion. I dont have much info on the specs other than it is a Scandalli and the name FRANKIE centered in the front. I also see some markings in the back 47/36. It plays good and all the keys function well. However, Id like to know more where it was made, specs, important features worth noting, etc...

Any light you can shed on it would be helpful. See pics

Your accordion has the previous owners name on it. Hard to tell from your pics but it just might be one of these -- http://www.accordionists.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1638 -- but of older vintage.

Thanks Jim. Didn't know that the name 'FRANKIE' would have been the previous owner's name. It actually looks like it was manufactured directly with that name on it. The letters are raised right on the plastic...that's what I call custom.
