Nicely done. I suspect that the place before the vents may not be the best recording location if you cannot switch off the heating(?) during the recording. I know that I sometimes switch off central heating when I start recording and end the session when it gets too cold.

Thanks for the advice! I remember to turn off the TV, but never thought the mic on my camera would pick up the fan noise. i was never aware of it. I will lower the thermostat in the future.

That can usually be easily removed in post process, but I don't think you do much of that, do you, George?

Right, I have done some cropping beginning and ending, but don't know how to take out background noise. I have leaned toward recording in a home environment rather that a studio approach, but wouldn't mind learning how to do some editing. What I have thought about is merging two videos one playing the melody and the other doing fills.

What do you use as a video editor? I use Davinci Resolve Studio (paid version) but the free version is really nice and does 90% of what the paid version does.

I think I used the built in YouTube editor for cropping. After a quick search I see there are quite a few that do alot more. I will have to check them out. Thanks👍
